Last Saturday, "Open Hearts" again gathered for the next lesson on training counseling.
Rama explained the nuances of the client-centered approach in counseling, how to create a consultant:
- Atmosphere that would unleash the client and
- Encouraged the self-disclosure and actions of the counselor
The basic postulate of this approach is this:
I do mine, and you do yours.
I'm not in this world in order to live up to your expectations.
And you are not in this world in order to live up to my expectations.
You are you, and I am I,
And if we accidentally find each other, it's fine,
If not, then nothing can be helped.
Open hearts learned in counseling to guide clients so that they could:
- Find support in themselves when solving current problems,
- And to live more "truly".
- In order for clients to be independent, they must be in contact with their own organismic existential centers (connecting the mind with the body and the body with the external environment)).
- People who are in contact with their organismic "I" or with their feelings, are self-actualizing, or independent ..
In the course of the lesson, the players first of all, by their example, saw how they avoid living life authentically, avoiding meeting with these or those feelings, how they run off to various kinds of defense and surrendered, opening the Life and leaving the meeting, with the intention of revealing genuine Life, Filled with a variety of feelings.
